On August 13, the consecration ceremony of the Armenian St. Grigor Lusavorich (Gregory the Illuminator) Church was held in the Russian city of Vladimir. The liturgy was conducted by Bishop Mkrtich Proshyan, head of the Aragatsotn Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church. 

The ceremony in the Russian city of Vladimir was attended by Ambassador of Armenia to Russia Vardan Toghanyan, Deputy governor for social policy of the Vladimir region Mikhail Kolkov, President of the Union of Armenians in Russia NGO Ara Abrahamyan, and representatives of the local Armenian community.
