On February 14, the official opening of the «Armenia-Russia: Together» exhibition was held in Moscow.

The ceremony of the official opening was attended by Chairmen of the National Assembly of Armenia Ara Babloyan and State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin.

«This exhibition is very symbolic, and it is a great sign of friendship, respect and cooperation»,- said the Chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia.

«The title of the exhibition speaks for itself – «Together». Russia and Armenia are not only strategic partners, but they are countries that have been living in friendship and brotherhood for many centuries. And we have much in common. Our relations are developing dynamically»,- emphasized the Chairman of the State Duma of Russia.  

The opening of the exhibition was attended by Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of Russia Pyotr Tolstoy, head of the fraction of the party «United Russia» in the State Duma Sergei Neverov, head of the fraction of the «LDPR» in the State Duma Vladimir Zhirinovsky, leader of the fraction of the «Communist Party» in the State Duma Gennady Zyuganov, Armenia’s Ambassador to Russia Vardan Toghanyan, and Head of the Russian and Novo-Nakhichevan Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Ezras Nersisyan.

The exhibition «Together» was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to the Russian Federation, the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots with the support of the «SoftConstruct» company.

The exhibition is timed to the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Russia, as well as the 300th anniversary of the founding of the Russian and Novo-Nakhichevan Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
