Ambassador V. Harutyunyan presented his credentials to Russia’s President

On September 20, in the Alexander Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace, Vagharshak Harutyunyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Russian Federation, presented his credentials to President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

In his speech at the ceremony of presenting his credentials, the President of the Russian Federation noted that Armenia is the closest friend and strategic ally of the Russian Federation. The President of Russia congratulated the fraternal Armenian people and the leadership of the country on the Independence Day celebrated on September 21.

Vladimir Putin noted that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation, as well as the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance between the two states.
