Moscow commemorates the 107th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide

On the occasion of the 107th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, a flower-laying ceremony was held at the memorial to the victims of the Armenian Genocide, installed on the territory of the Armenian Apostolic Church complex in Moscow.

The ceremony was attended by Archbishop Yezras Nersisyan, Head of the Russian and New Nakhichevan Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Arsen Arakelyan, Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Minister of the Armenian Embassy to Russia, Military Attaché at the diplomatic mission, Major General Armen Lalayan, diplomats and employees of the Embassy, authorized representatives of various governmental bodies of the Republic of Armenia in Moscow, representatives of the Armenian community and numerous Armenians living in Moscow.

On the morning of April 24, at the Cathedral of the Holy Transfiguration of the Lord was held the St. liturgy. At the end of it took place the rite of glorification of St. Martyrs of the Armenian Genocide.
